BANANA TEA CAKE
Banana Tea Cake
Ingredients
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 1/3 cup flour
2 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 small banana (mashed)
Method
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Add bananas. Fold in the sieved flour, baking powder and salt, and mix to a soft consistency with milk.
Spoon the mixture into two greased small loaf pans or one greased large loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 45 minutes for small pans and 60 minutes for large pan. Cool on wire tray.
