Recipe 

CARROT AND GRAPES CAKE 

1 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Pinch ginger (optional)

4 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup grated carrots

1/2 cup grapes

Place all dry ingredients together in a bowl,  Add sugar and stir in. Make a well in the center and add oil, egg beaten, milk and carrots.  Mix and blend well.

Grease a 6 inch pan and pour batter in.  Spread grapes on top either cut in half or whole.

Bake 350°

Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes 

Serve for breakfast warm with butter or jams.
