Recipe 

CARROT AND GRAPES CAKE 

1 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Pinch ginger (optional)

4 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 egg

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup grated carrots

1/2 cup grapes

Place all dry ingredients together in a bowl,  Add sugar and stir in. Make a well in the center and add oil, egg beaten, milk and carrots.  Mix and blend well.

Grease a 6 inch pan and pour batter in.  Spread grapes on top either cut in half or whole.

Bake 350°

Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes 

Serve for breakfast warm with butter or jams.

1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 baking powder
1 egg ( slightly beaten)
1 small carton strawberry yogurt
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Combine all ingredients together and blend together well.
Place oil in pan to get hot and then fry accordingly.
Optional
Sprinkle with sugar or cinnamon and sugar

Breakfast Scones

1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar

1/4 cup cream

1 egg

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Raisins

Grated Cheddar Cheese

Combine the first four ingredients in a medium size bowl.

Make a well in the center.

Pour the next ingredients.

Fold or mix all together.

Knead and shape into round 6" x 2" circle.  Cut down the center on each side.

Bake 350° oven.  Grease with vegetable oil. Baking on one side and then turning over to the other side. ( in a pan fry way)

Serve warm.
