Three Bean Salad With White Rice


RECIPE

Three Bean Salad With White Rice

Ingredients

1 can Three Bean Salad

1 cup rice (cooked)

Seasonings

Optional:  Saute a small chopped onion.


Method

Open can and drain liquid from the three bean salad.

Cook rice according to the instructions on the box or package.

Combine the three bean salad and the rice together.  Season and toss.

Serve as a salad or as a hot side dish.  Serve with either poultry, beef, fish etc.

Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Home Fries And Mixed Vegetables

CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICHES 
HOME FRIES
MIXED VEGETABLES



Chicken Salad

To make chicken salad you will need in preparation.

1 small can White Chicken Breast Chicken drained
1 Celery stalk grated
1 small Onion grated
Seasonings
Mayonnaise 
Mustard
Relish

Combine all ingredients together and blend.
Make sandwiches accordingly to liking.  Rolls or buns in this photo were made by MarketPlace in Bermuda.



Homes Fries

2 large potatoes (Cut to liking)
Vegetable Oil 

Heat oil in frying pan just enough to cover the surface. 
Add cut up fries and fry unto golden brown and crispy.
Drain on paper towel and season with salt. 
Optional. You can add a couple slices of onion to cook along with for more flavor.




Mixed Vegetables

Italian Dressing.

Creamed Potato And Turnip
Potato And Turnip Cakes

Ingredients

4-5 medium Potatoes
Small Turnip
Seasonings
1/4 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Butter

Method

Peel and wash potatoes and turnip.  Cut potatoes in half and turnip in small cubes.  Cook until tender, drain and mash.   Add and stir in seasonings, milk and butter.   Spoon into serving bowl.

Potato And Turnip Cakes were made with above mixture after a few days as left-overs.   To make the cakes spoon about quarter cup mixture and form into cakes. Roll the cakes in a bowl with flour and pan fry accordingly.
