Throw Together Biscuit Scone

Wasn't feeling well for a few days.  However, felt a little better and realize I need something for breakfast in the morning.  Thought better make this now with whatever little ingredients I had on hand to have for breakfast.  Thank You .... ❤️.  About Combine 1 cup flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder and 3 tablespoons sugar (optional less or more) together,  Cut in 1 tablespoon butter, and 2 tablespoons Crisco,  Blend in little  cream and water to bring together.   Bring into a ball and flatten with hand or spatula.  Cut in fours and then again inside the fours or quarters.  Bake for approximately 15 - 20 minutes at 350°.  Cool and separate the cutting.

Breakfast Zucchini Cakes

Recipe
1  1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 - 3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg beaten
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 to 1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon Realemon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 zucchinni grated

Combine all dry ingredients together and mix.  Add remaining wet ingredients.  Prepare frying pan with vegetable oil.  Spoon batter in hot oil and fry.  Remove and absorb the grease before sprinkling icing sugar.

Biscuit Pizza (Pepperoni)

Ingredients

Biscuit Dough

1 cup flour

1/4 cup Crisco shortening or butter 

2 tablespoons to 3 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 cup Milk (approximately)

Pinch salt

Topping

Tomato sauce

Pepperoni 

Cheese 

Pineapple (optional)

Method

Combine and mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together.  Add Crisco shortening or butter and cut in until forms bread crumbs affect.  Gradually add milk until biscuit forming consistency.  Lightly butter pan and spoon batter into pan and with your hand pat into pan.  Prick with a fork and top with sauce, pepperoni and cheese.  Bake accordingly.

Chickpea Cakes







Served here with cabbage and beef.

Chickpea Cake Recipe

Ingredients

Chickpeas

Seasonings:-

Garlic Salt

Pepper

Garlic Powder

Parsley Flakes

Curry Powder

1 egg beaten

Onion (chopped)

Flour (optional) if too sticky

Frying

Vegetable oil

Flour

Frying Pan


Method

Drain Chickpeas.

Mash them like you would mash to make mashed potato.

Season to liking.

Saute onions and add to.

Combine all together well.  If at this point you think too sticky to touch add a little flour.

Roll into cakes and fry.

Dot with paper towel to remove accessive grease.

Serve either hot or room temperature.

Makes about 5.

Rice and Spaghetti Casserole 

Cook's Essential 

Slow Cook (low)

2 hours (approximately)

Ingredients

1 cup rice

1/4 of a box Spaghetti

1 can Dice Tomatoes

1 small onion

1 tablespoon butter

2 - 3 cups of water boiled (gradually adding to texture of choice)

1 cup Ready made diced chicken

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (brocolli, carrots and cauliflower)

Salt, Pepper, Parsley Flakes, Garlic Salt or Powder

Cheese (optional)

Method

1.  Prepare Cook's Essential to Slow Cook (low)

2.  Put into dish the rice, spaghetti, tomatoes, saute onions, butter, seasonings and 2 cups boiled water.  (gradually add more water to texture of liking) Stir all together, allow to cook stirring on occassions for 1 hour.  Then add chicken and vegetables.  Optional add grated cheese.
