CHICKEN STEW 





Chicken Stew 

Ingredients

Drumsticks Chicken
Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Celery 
Onions
Turnip 
Peas
Carrots 
Chicken Oxo Cubes 
Tomatoes
Seasonings

Method 

Bake chicken in oven. 
Combine all other ingredients into one pot with enough water to cover all ingredients, cook on stove top at medium temperature until tender.  Add the baked Chicken and separate from the bone.
Serve with rice of your choice.

Muffins With Chopped Peanuts And Raisins

Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup butter
1/4  - 1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped raisins and peanuts

Method

Combine all ingredients together.  Blend well.  Spoon in muffin cups.  Bake for approximately 20 minutes in a preheated oven of 350 degrees.

Optional, if you like to use less sugar and butter you can it doesn't change the recipe.  Oil preference too instead of butter

Optional, you can use 3/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup cornmeal which was used in these pictures here.
