Chocolate
Nut Brownies
Makes
16 Servings; 110 calories per serving
Ingredients
1
square (1ounce) unsweetened baking chocolate
⅓
cup margarine
2
tablespoons liquid sweetener
2
teaspoons vanilla
2
eggs, lightly beaten
1
cup sifted cake flour
½
teaspoon salt
½
teaspoon baking soda
¾
cup chopped nuts
Method
1.
Lightly grease an 8 – inch square baking
pan
2.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
3.
In a small saucepan, melt chocolate and
margarine over low heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
4.
Stir in liquid sweetener, vanilla, and
eggs; blend well.
5.
Stir together flour, salt, and baking
soda.
6.
Gradually blend dry ingredients into
chocolate mixture.
7.
Stir in nuts.
8.
Pour into the prepared pan.
9.
Bake for 20 minutes.
10.
Cool in pan on a wire rack.
11.
Cut into bars.
