Potato And Turnip Cakes
Ingredients
4-5 medium Potatoes
Small Turnip
Seasonings
1/4 cup Milk
2 tablespoons Butter
Method
Peel and wash potatoes and turnip. Cut potatoes in half and turnip in small cubes. Cook until tender, drain and mash. Add and stir in seasonings, milk and butter. Spoon into serving bowl.
Potato And Turnip Cakes were made with above mixture after a few days as left-overs. To make the cakes spoon about quarter cup mixture and form into cakes. Roll the cakes in a bowl with flour and pan fry accordingly.
