Potato Fritters

Potato Fritters


3 Potatoes (grated)
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar
3 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
Sugar for garnish


1.                  Beat egg and sugar together.
2.                  Add potatoes, flour and baking powder.  Mix well.
3.                  Drop by the spoonful into hot oil.  Fry until golden.
4.                  Sprinkle with sugar and serve with a lemon wedge.
