Apple Pancakes Mixed In Nutri-Bullet

Recipe

Apple Pancakes

Ingredients

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

Pinch salt

4 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 egg

1/2 to 1 Apple

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon cinnamon 


Place all ingredients in Nutri-Bullet Cup and Mix.

Prepare hot grill and grill accordingly.

Breakfast Zucchini Cakes

Recipe
1  1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 - 3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 egg beaten
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 to 1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon Realemon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 zucchinni grated

Combine all dry ingredients together and mix.  Add remaining wet ingredients.  Prepare frying pan with vegetable oil.  Spoon batter in hot oil and fry.  Remove and absorb the grease before sprinkling icing sugar.

Wonderful, easy and simple recipe to make at any given time.   Make the night ahead and have it ready to griddle with ease in the morning when in a hurry.   Great also, when you griddle them all at one time and don't use all of them, but have leftovers, they can be the next morning put in the microwave again for a few minutes and add your butter along with syrup.   Recipe can also be used in muffins, waffles etc.

Apple Sauce Pancakes

Apple Sauce Pancakes
Made this morning for breakfast.  Recipe can also be used for muffins.

Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup flour
2 - 4 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
4 oz White House Original Snack Pack Apple Sauce

Method

Sift flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and baking powder together.

Add butter (melted), egg (beaten), milk and apple sauce to dry ingredients and fold in until all blended.

Spoon batter of a 1/4 cup in medium heated buttered pan and cook until bubbly and ready to flip.

Makes about 8 pancakes.

Serve with maple syrup.

Cheese Crackers

Cheese Pastry

Ingredients

1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ cup Crisco or Butter
¼ cup white cheddar cheese
¼ cup cheddar cheese
1 large egg yolk
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon baking powder

Method
1.                  Sieve the flour, salt and cayenne pepper then rub in the cooking fat until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. 
2.                  Stir in the cheese and bind together with the egg yolk and water.
3.                  Form into a firm dough.
4.                  Roll out dough until about ¼ inch thick and cut out with round cookie cutter.  Prick with a folk.
5.                  Bake in a 425° oven for approximately 10 – 12 minutes.

Optional Note:  3/4 cup Flour and 1/4 cup Whole Wheat
Optional Note:  Basic White Sauce With Cheddar Cheese and White Cheddar Cheese.   Chopped Broccoli

Plain Pancakes And Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups flour,
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup melted butter or oil
1 egg
1/2 to 1 cup of milk.

Chocolate Chips optional.

Method

1.  Sift flour, sugar, salt, baking powder together.  
2.  Add butter, egg and milk.  
3.  Blend together. 
4.  Preheat griddler pan or frying pan with butter or oil.  Spoon batter by 1/4 cup onto griddler until golden brown on each side.

Old-Fashioned FlapJacks







Old-Fashioned FlapJacks

Makes 8 (4-inch) FlapJacks

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon light-brown sugar
½ cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

Method

1.                  In large bowl of electric mixer, at high speed, beat eggs until light and fluffy – about 2 minutes.
2.                  Into eggs, sift flour with baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.  Add brown sugar; beat until smooth.
3.                  Stir in buttermilk and butter just until combined; do not overbeat.
4.                  Meanwhile, slowly heat griddle or heavy skillet.  To test temperature, drop a little cold water onto hot griddle; water should roll off in drops.
5.                  Use ¼ cup batter for each flapjack; cook until bubbles form on surface and edges become dry.  Turn; cook 2 minutes longer, or until nicely browned on underside.
