1 can of Peaches (drained)

Combine 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1- 2 teaspoons cinnamon, little salt together, add 1/4 cup butter and cut through flour mixture to it resembles the look of bread crumbs.  Place peaches in a pan and top with crumble mixture.  Bake about 30 minutes or to golden brown.  Optional serve with custard, puddings or ice cream.

Breakfast Donuts

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

3 tablespoons sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 slightly beaten egg

2 tablespoons apple sauce

1/4 cup milk

Frying

Bermuda's Best Vegetable Oil (Karibuni Bermuda - oils)

Sugar and cinnamon to shake donuts in.

Combine all dry ingredients together.  Make a well in the center of dry ingredients.  Add all liquid ingredients, milk, applesauce, butter, egg etc.  Mix well and roll out to cut out donuts to fry.

I used the instructions on the package here but used milk and water as half and half.  I also used the oil as instructed but used a little butter.  The 1/3 of butter is approximately 5 tables of oil, I used 4 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.  Reason for the substitutes being what I apparently had available in oil and used melted butter to make up to 1/3 cup.  I was planning on using all milk but didn't have enough milk that day so I used the water and milk.   Cranberries were added at the end of the mixing and folded in about 1/2 cup.
